Moving photos from shared drive to my drive. Steve Matthews

My class are trying to get a photo from the shared drive to their my drive.

We moved them from the ipad manually onto a pc then uploaded into the shared drive. cant seem to get then from there to the mydrive of each student.

How do they do this?

Hi Steve,

This will be because of the Team Drive which for the students is set to ‘edit’ access. Edit access in Team Drives means you can edit anything, create files, but not delete/move them.

See if they can duplicate the file then move it.

If that doesn’t work, perhaps get them to move the files from your computer (logged in as you), or you could upgrade the students temporarily.
