Sending email shouldn’t be like going into a block hole – this tip shows you how to enable read receipts for email so that users can tell if a recipient has read an email. There are a number of instances where this might be useful:
Managing a recruitment process.
Time sensitive projects.
Holding someone accountable.
In order to make these changes you’ll need to have access to your G Suite administrator console – admin.google.com
As a side note, there are third party plugins for Gmail that also achieve the same goal, such as Boomerang for Gmail, which you can download from the Resource Library > Useful Extensions
