Sometimes attaching emails makes more sense than forwarding emails separately. Like when you need to forward multiple messages relating to a single topic. With this new functionality, you can do exactly that. Simply create a new message and attach the set of supporting emails. The recipient will be able to open these directly in their inbox.
Heres how:
- To insert emails in a new thread, drag and drop them into the draft window.
- The attached email becomes a .eml file.
- When the recipient clicks on the .eml attachment, it will open in a new window.
Another way to insert emails in a new thread is to select the emails and then from the overflow (three-dot) menu select “Forward as attachment”
Tip: You can attach as many emails as you’d like.
