How to delegate your inbox

Inbox delegation is when you get someone else to check and respond to your emails as they come in. It is a handy way to ensure that your email is dealt with even if you are not there.
There are a number of common scenarios where this is useful, including when you are on leave, or your manager or principal is away and needs someone to monitor his/her email.
