Did you know that you can create your very own templates for Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides? This can really speed up document creation and keep them consistent.

  1. Follow these steps:
  2. Inside Drive (or Docs, Sheets or Slides) click New > From a template
  3. A new window will appear, select ‘Submit a template’.
  4. Navigate to the document you wish to turn into a template and submit it.

You can opt to submit the original or a copy of the original. We usually suggest you submit a copy of the original.
