Google Sheets: Interacting and Collaborating – Using comments

Comments bring the power of collaboration into your Google Sheets. They allow you to get help from, or provide feedback to, other people who are collaborating on the same Sheet.

Examples of using comments might include: the principal asking for clarification on budget expenditure, asking someone to check accuracy of information and so on.

You will learn:

1
How a comment is different from a note.
2
Why comments are an important way to interact with others.
3
How to create a comment.
4
How to reply to a comment.
5
How to 'mention' someone in a comment.

Examples of using comments might include:

  • The principal asking for clarification on budget expenditure.
  • Reminding a staff member to update information.
  • Asking someone to check accuracy of information and so on.
